Here are just a few relevant examples of our work.

The people at Communicators Group are local people who live and/or work right here in the Monadnock Region. But we also bring a wealth of professional, award-winning branding experience to the table, including place-branding campaigns with objectives similar to the goals of your campaign. Below are a few examples (if you want to see more of our work, you can browse through the full portfolio on our website).

Regional Marketing

Real Rutland

This campaign’s objectives were to increase the region’s workforce and to counter negative perceptions of the area.

Regional Marketing

Okemo Valley

Working with the Okemo Valley Regional Chamber, we helped 12 towns in South Central Vermont brand the area as a special destination for recreation & relaxation.

Workforce Development

Marketing work-life balance

We’ve helped several of our clients recruit employees by marketing a healthy work-life balance as one of the main reasons to change jobs.

Real Rutland

Starting in 2017, Communicators Group’s Digital Media Director, Luke Stafford, led a team that conceived, planned and implemented the Real Rutland regional marketing campaign. The campaign’s primary objective was to increase the appropriate workforce in the region, and the secondary goal was to reverse the negative perceptions (aka the “Rut Vegas” Problem) of the area. The overarching message was that Rutland is a premier place to live, work, play and raise a family.

The campaign began with a series of 30-second ads that ran on broadcast and digital television in the Boston Metro area and throughout Vermont. To reverse negative perceptions locally, this ad ran on local television stations and on digital platforms. Together, digital and broadcast spots were seen over 4,000,000 times in the first 6 months of the campaign.

In its second year, the campaign transitioned into a resident-centric, content-driven campaign, focusing on stories of people who chose to move to Rutland County and distributed largely through social media channels.

At the end of 2018, the reins were handed back to the Rutland economic development committee and the regional chamber to execute a high-touch “concierge” program for people considering a move to Rutland County.

As of the last count in 2021, more than 30 families have moved to Rutland County through the concierge program.

Okemo Valley

Vermont’s Okemo Valley features a dozen small towns located in close proximity to each other, each with its own unique character. Working with the Okemo Regional Chamber, we helped these towns come together to market themselves as a special place for people to explore – a region where you can find your place in Vermont.

Recruiting for work | life balance

spoonwood logo

We created this series of digital display ads and social media graphics to help Keene-based Spoonwood Dental Partners recruit dental health professionals to come work where they’ll be surrounded by natural beauty and cultural opportunities in all four seasons.

We helped Northampton, MA-based Cooley Dickinson Hospital create an integrated workforce recruitment campaign (including website, digital display, video, social media and traditional print materials) based on the Pioneer Valley’s bountiful work-life benefits.

A big part of our client Monadnock Community Hospital’s pitch to prospective employees is the allure of working and living in our beautiful, peaceful, welcoming region.

We look forward to working with you!
