South Dakota Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe
On this trip, I worked at a summer camp for the children on this reservation. Many of the children are living in poverty, as well as many being born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Also on this trip, my group strove to listen to the needs of the people of that community.

I am an active member of student government at BUHS: The president of the National Honor Society as well as the Student Council.

Athletic Leadership
I have participated in many sports at BUHS and enjoy encouraging school spirit and unity among the Brattleboro athletic community. I emcee pep rallies, and am an active member on the Athletic Leadership Council, which is currently working on a curriculum to teach athletes about sexual harassment.
Exchange Student Host
During the 2019-2020 school year, we hosted Lena Egert, an exchange student from Austria. It was fascinating to learn about her culture. Her English was amazing! Sadly, due to COVID-19, she had to return to Austria in April.
